Computer Controlled TorsionTesting Machine has been developed for quick and accurate testing of twisting properties of various materials such as wire, rods, springs etc. The machine consists of a sliding mechanism to accommodate specimen of different sizes. The sensor is installed on the movable end while the other end is rotated with a motor which can provide rotation in both directions. The motor in turn is controlled by an inverter drive.
